Mercedes Truck BUS PSM module repair instruction

The PSM control module (Parameterizable special module) can be found in Mercedes-Benz trucks model series 932, 963 and 964. It fulfills a very important role, it is integrated into the overall network of the vehicle via the CAN bus.

Basic functions of the module:

Full access to data from the vehicle's entire CAN system enables multiple applications to be implemented with a minimum of additional hardware components
Several functions are performed without additional control units. It is only necessary to parameterize them
Various functions are available from the factory as ready-made applications. These can be individually adapted (parameterization) to the respective use in the vehicle
It provides functions that are either activated or deactivated according to their parameterization
